Ten year old Stand Guard made record equalling history on Tuesday 4 March by beating three opponents to complete his 25th all-weather victory. Tom Queally partnered Stand Guard, who after a mesmerising spell aboard Frankel, is no stranger to breaking racing records. The Juddmonte bred Stand Guard won by an impressive 8 lengths in the second race of the day, on the All-Weather Championship card at Southwell Racecourse.
Throughout his career Stand Guard has won multiple times at all four UK all-weather tracks, which include the Arena Racing Company owned; Lingfield Park, Southwell and Wolverhampton, as well as the Jockey Club owned Kempton Park, with 9 different jockeys winning in the saddle across his seven year career.

The John Butler trained Stand Guard is declared to run again at Southwell on Thursday 6 March in a highly anticipated race, which could see him break the 13 year old record currently held by China Castle.
