Family Fun Day - Sunday 10 July

With a great days racing for the adults and entertainment for the kids, our Family Fun Day are a great value day out for the whole family. There will also be appearances from Paddington Bear throughout the day together with other children’s entertainment including a travelling show and fairground rides.

The Advertiser Ladies Day - Sunday 14 August

All the glitz and glamour of the races comes to Southwell Racecourse on Sunday 14 August 2016.

Ladies Day is our most popular fixture of the season, with a record crowd of 8,050 in attendance in 2014 and similar in 2015. It is held in association with the Newark Advertiser. Ladies are encouraged to dress up and compete for the array of prizes on offer for 'Best Dressed Lady', 'Best Hat' and 'Best Shoes'.

The day will be packed with exciting entertainment and will feature live music for all visitors after racing from a tribute act.

Gentleman’s Day - Sunday 11 December

We are delighted to announce the inaugural Southwell Gentleman’s Day, which takes place on Sunday 11th December 2016!

Taking the place of what was historically the two-day Beer Festival weekend run over the course of the corresponding weekend, Gentleman’s Day is just a single day fixture in 2016.

Our Gentleman’s Day will be a smashing event, with a selection of tipples to taste, a great day of jumps racing, and also fantastic live music playing at the end of racing!
