Dress Code

Hospitality:

The Seasons Restaurant/Sherwood Bistro is one of our premier locations and, accordingly, racegoers often choose to adopt a smarter style. We recommend, for example, smart jeans or tailored shorts and a collared shirt for the gentlemen. Our only stipulation is that sporting team shirts and offensive fancy dress are not permitted.

General Admission:

Our dress code here is relaxed. Again, our only stipulation is sporting team shirts and offensive fancy dress are not permitted.

Our priority at Southwell is making sure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience with us. We would remind all racegoers that race meetings at Southwell are predominantly outdoor events, and that they are mindful of the weather when deciding what to wear.

 Rainy Day Tips

  3. Layers: Dress in versatile layers you can add or remove as the weather changes.
  4. Waterproofs: A lightweight jacket or poncho will keep you dry without the bulk.

  2. SPF is a Must: Apply sunscreen and reapply to stay protected.
