Racing fans are in for a rare treat as superstar City of Troy makes an exciting appearance at Southwell Racecourse for a special gallop. Trained by the legendary Aidan O'Brien, this extraordinary colt has already captured the hearts of racing enthusiasts worldwide with his breathtaking performances.
City of Troy has lit up the tracks across Europe, and now, all eyes are on his preparation for the biggest challenge of his career—the prestigious Breeders' Cup in the USA. Southwell Racecourse is honored to host City of Troy and his world-renowned trainer as they fine-tune preparations for the upcoming showdown on the international stage.
The gallop is expected to take place between 3pm-4pm with the gallop expected to last approximately 15 minutes.
Tickets are FREE but must be registered in advance. Don't miss this unique opportunity to witness a champion in action before he heads across the Atlantic to take on the world’s best. Join us at Southwell for what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon with one of racing's brightest stars.
Please note that while this is not a full raceday experience, there will be food and drink options available.
Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
