Kate Baxter CEO Children’s Bereavement Centre., said:
“We are delighted to be the chosen charity for this year’s Ladies Day at Southwell Racecourse. It’s been a tough year for all charities and the Children’s Bereavement Centre is no exception. With most events cancelled both our community fundraising and the opportunity to get out to meet people and tell them about the charity have been severely affected.
"Ladies Day offers us a great opportunity to do both of these things and we are looking forward to chatting to old friends and meeting new people too. If you are going to the event please pop by our gazebo to meet our team and don’t forget to buy a raffle ticket, we have some amazing prizes to be won. Your support will ensure we can continue to be there to offer our free specialised support to local children and young people through one of the most difficult times in their lives.
"A huge thank you to Mark and all the team at Southwell Racecourse for giving us this opportunity and we are really looking forward to working with them in a few weeks and we are all keeping our fingers crossed for the sunshine”
